This sleeping bag contains 1.6lb of 800FP (fill power) goose feather. It is filled with more than 90% high quality feather, providing both outstanding warmth and an overwhelming compactness that cannot be found in synthetic fibers. The stretch sewing using 20D (denier) water repellent nylon and the box quilt structure provide a high level of comfort and warmth retention through expansion and contraction.
In addition, it has a special zipper to prevent fabric chewing when opening and closing, and draft tubes around the neck and inside the zipper to reduce outside air infiltration. It also comes with a mesh storage bag to keep the size down when stored at home. It is over-spec for camping, but we dare you to use it exclusively for camping.
